Now that the kids are older, and basically don't need me for anything other than my fingerprint to download an app, I have caught my breath enough to access the situation and the situation is the Aldi Finds aisle is calling my name.
Expecting
So how do you manage expectations that continually aren't met...
fall leaves me feeling blue.
Fall affects me, I cried on the way to work last week for no reason. Fall is that no-reason, reason. I watch the leaves turn autumnal colors, the darkness take over the daytime hours, the spiders balloon, the crops dry, and the dew sit on the grass, and feel the heaviness of living this life without my parents.
